Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities
ABOUT
Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas (VOACC) is proud to announce our 2026 Colloquium, Foundation of Hope: Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities, coming to Guilford County, North Carolina.
In a season marked by uncertainty and constant demands, this year’s Colloquium creates space to pause, reflect, and recommit to what matters most. Family, whether biological or chosen, is a God-given priority and the foundation upon which strong, healthy communities are built. When families are supported and strengthened, hope takes root and communities thrive.
The 2026 Colloquium invites concerned citizens, students, advocates, business leaders, government officials, and individuals of diverse faith traditions and beliefs to come together in shared purpose. Through connection, conversation, and collective action, we will explore how strengthening families can reinforce the foundation of faith, care, and responsibility that holds our communities together.
Join us in Guilford County as we invest in families, renew our sense of hope, and work together to build stronger communities for the future.
This is a FREE event. To register for the Colloquium, please visit the link below.
