Vice President of the Carolinas

As Vice President of the Carolinas, Dr. Ron is responsible for overall strategic and operational goals (including internal operations, program expansion, risk management, leadership development and program evaluation) for all program areas within the Carolina’s region at Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas.

Flack joined VOA Chesapeake & Carolinas in 2022. Prior to coming to VOA, he has served for more than 16 years in the behavioral health sector, leading as an MOUD program sponsor, chief executive officer, and chief compliance officer for privately owned behavioral health organizations. Flack has also served as a private consultant for substance use and mental health services, initiating startups across the country. Since 2007, he has earned two bachelor’s degree, two master’s degrees in divinity and addiction counseling, and a doctorate degree from Grace College and Seminary. Flack is a licensed therapist providing clinical supervision for those facing co-occurring disorders.
