ABOUT
Hope Wins is a night of inspiration and entertainment taking place on May 23, 2025, at Zion Church in Greenbelt, MD. This uplifting event will celebrate perseverance, resilience, and the power of hope.
Renowned community advocate Alison Seymour will serve as our emcee, guiding the evening’s lineup of talented speakers and performers. Enjoy a diverse range of musical performances, including a special appearance by nationally acclaimed singer Joe George. A comedian will bring joy and laughter during these uncertain times, and Pittsburgh Steelers Defensive Tackle Larry Ogunjobi will share a powerful personal testimony of hope.
All proceeds from Hope Wins will support the crisis ministry of Volunteers of America Chesapeake & the Carolinas (VOACC), which has been serving communities across the DMV since 1896. VOACC provides housing, healthcare, and human services to those in need, bringing love and hope to the most vulnerable. Concessions will be available for purchase!
