Jules Christian is a Pastor, Chaplain, Writer, and Counselor, providing spiritual care for over twenty-five years. After a supernatural encounter with the Lord, Jules accepted the call to ministry.

She has a Master’s Degree in Theology and is ordained in the Non-Denominational Christian tradition. Jules served as Associate Pastor of Youth for nine years, at which time God opened the door to chaplaincy. Jules completed her first year of Clinical Pastoral Education in her home state of North Carolina and moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked and trained as a Psychiatric Chaplain. Jules has spent her career serving in Ministry, Non-Profit, and Mission-Driven Organizations, including Saint Elizabeths Psychiatric Hospital, Holy Cross Health, and Hillside Hospice.

Chaplain Jules started on June 30, 2022, and is already making an impact in our ministry. She is an engaging spiritual leader who has a passion to help others, especially those in the margins.

“Some of my goals include; sharpening our spiritual focus and ensuring we are spirit-driven, supporting our staff in more tangible ways, and expanding our outreach with faith partners in the communities we serve.”

Originally from NC in the piedmont area (Greensboro, High Point, Winston Salem), Jules says the beach is her happy place. She is a compassionate, empathic visionary who desires to minister to those, especially in the margins, and has a passion for helping bring healing and wholeness to the spirit, soul, and body. Jules loves the DMV and currently resides in Falls Church, Virginia, with her dog Cocoa. She is a self-admitted chocolate connoisseur and has said you will rarely see her without a Diet Dr. Pepper.

“The thing I love most about God is God’s presence. God is always with me no matter what. Music, and specifically praise and worship is what gets me through hard times.”
