5 Weeks of Giving

Dr. Sheryl Neverson, Vice President of Maryland Programs, shares her views on Integrity:
Integrity: The definition of Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles and moral uprightness. Volunteers of America Chesapeake operate with honor and truthfulness. Integrity has been a leading value for me in my tenure at Volunteers of America Chesapeake.
For me, Integrity as a core value of Volunteers of America Chesapeake, relates to the work we do every day. We strive to bring honesty and strong moral principles in our work with vulnerable populations. Many of the clients we serve have been through some type of trauma and/or difficulty with everyday life challenges. They need a provider who will not only render person-centered care, but who will do so with integrity. From the CEO and the COO, to the Vice Presidents, Directors, and Direct Staff, we pride ourselves with making decisions and caring for our staff, clients, stakeholders, and community with respect and Integrity.
