Integrated Behavioral Health & Primary Care for All in Need
The VOA Hope Center (MD) provides a comprehensive collection of services needed to create access, stabilize people in crisis, and provide the necessary treatment for those with the most serious, complex behavioral health illnesses and substance use disorders. The Center integrates additional services to ensure an approach to health care that emphasizes recovery, wellness, trauma-informed care and physical-behavioral health integration.
Eligibility
Services are available to any individual in need of care, including, but not limited to people with the following:
- Serious mental illness
- Serious emotional disturbance
- Long-term chronic addiction
- Mild or moderate mental illness
- Substance use disorders
- Complex health profiles
VOA Hope Center (MD) provides care regardless of ability to pay, caring for men, women and children who are underserved; have low incomes; are insured, uninsured or on Medicaid; and those who are active duty military or veterans.
**NOTE: Same-day services are offered at our Greenbelt location ONLY. Walk-ins are welcome for mental and behavioral health services Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 11AM.**

Services Provided
Psychiatric/Medication Management
Psychiatric evaluations during the intake process and follow-up medication management monthly.
Primary Care
Physical health evaluation and lab orders during the intake process and follow-up is scheduled as needed based on diagnosis and specialist referrals.
Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)
Provides services to adults (18 years and older) with severe and persistent mental illnesses (SPMI) to facilitate the development of their independent living and social skills.
Crisis Stabilization Unit
A team of mental health first responders work to minimize consumer risk and maximize community safety by offering the following to adults and children in Prince George’s, Baltimore and Montgomery Counties.
Peer Support
Peer support specialists with lived experience with substance use, support a mobile response team to help build environments conducive to recovery.
Targeted Case Management (TCM)
Provides comprehensive services through a recovery-based model to adults and children who struggle with serious and persistent mental health challenges.
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program
An outpatient program providing structured individual and group recovery activities and services that are designed to assist adults and youth receiving care recover and develop recovery maintenance skills.

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Tuesday/Thursday: 9 AM – 9 PM (After 5 PM by appointment)
Saturday: 9 AM – 1 PM (By appointment only)
Same-Day Services (Greenbelt location ONLY)
Monday – Friday: 10 AM – 5 PM
