When justice-involved citizens return to society, they often want to start over but don’t know how. They need counseling, stable housing, and a job, but lack the necessary resources. Returning home can be a huge challenge — so hard that many returning citizens often fail and end up re-offending before long.

That’s why programs that help these individuals reintegrate into society are so critical. Here at Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas (VOACC), we offer justice-involved citizens the support they need to transition home, including case management, temporary housing & housing location assistance, employment assistance, and more.
