
Lillie Grace – Worship Leader & Recording Artist
Lillie Grace has been immersed in music since childhood. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., she began singing at age three and playing piano at six, later dedicating 15 years to classical piano training. A graduate of Suitland High School’s Visual and Performing Arts magnet program, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Music with a concentration in Music Education from Berklee College of Music.
Lillie served as youth music director and pianist at Peace Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., for 17 years before becoming a worship leader at Zion Church. Throughout her career, she has performed at prestigious events, including a Washington Nationals game at Nationals Park, the installation ceremony for D.C. Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier, and the first inauguration of President Barack Obama. She was crowned Youth Icon (2004) for the D.C./Maryland/Northern Virginia region and Sportsplex Idol (2006). In 2013, she won 1st place on BET’s Apollo Live, with her performance airing in July 2014.
Her musical journey has taken her across North America and Europe, ministering through song. A dedicated participant in the Hampton University Ministers’ Conference, Lillie has showcased her talent annually since 2008. While at Berklee, she performed with and provided background vocals for Byron Cage, Tye Tribbett, Donnie McClurkin, J.J. Hairston & Youthful Praise, Jonathan Nelson, Marvin Sapp, Bilal, Tamar Braxton, and more. She was also featured in Berklee’s most prestigious showcases, including Singer’s Night, the Quincy Jones Tribute, and the B.B. King Showcase, where she played the key role of Sue, B.B. King’s former wife.
Lillie has also performed in First Baptist Church of Glenarden’s Christmas production, “Someway, Somehow,” alongside Tamela & David Mann, Kierra Sheard, Jonathan McReynolds, Kim Burrell, and others. She has been invited to sing at various political events, including engagements for Senator Angela Alsobrooks, Governor Wes Moore, and President Joe Biden.
In January 2019, Lillie released her debut single, “Numb,” on all streaming platforms.
