Lisa Snider brings over 25 years of expertise in the Behavioral Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities field to our team. Based in Virginia for the past two decades, Lisa’s career spans roles in local and state government, as well as nonprofit community mental health and developmental disability service providers. Known for her commitment to person-centered services and creative problem-solving, Lisa has a dynamic approach to leadership.

Previously, Lisa served as the Assistant Director of Residential and Community Based Services at the Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse, and Developmental Services. There, she led initiatives ranging from early intervention services for infants and toddlers to overseeing various programs for adults with developmental disabilities or serious mental illness.

Lisa’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Science in Sociology from North Carolina State University. She continues to expand her knowledge through certifications in Health Care Compliance and Privacy, along with being a registered Qualified Mental Health Professional.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Lisa enjoys cheering for college football, a nod to her Texas roots, and indulging in college basketball, influenced by her time in North Carolina. In her downtime, she unwinds with mystery novels and comedy shows. Lisa cherishes time with her family, especially her two nephews, outside of her work commitments.
