Hope 4 Women is our inaugural cocktail fundraiser and networking opportunity in support of Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas’ brand-new medical respite program for women experiencing homelessness in Washington, DC. Enjoy an inspiring evening of giving, networking, beverages and hors d’oeuvres.
A partnership among VOA Chesapeake & Carolinas, AmeriHealth Caritas DC, Unity Health Care and Pathways to Housing DC, Hope Has A Home™ for Women is the first women-only medical respite program of its kind to offer women too sick to be on the streets a safe place to rest, get the mental and physical care they need, and ultimately move into homes of their own.
Building off of the success of our Hope Has A Home™ for Men program we are excited to be launching this much needed program this fall.
But without you, this program won’t remain open.
Through our Hope 4 Women event, you can help fill a $72,000 gap to keep this new safe haven for women open this year and in 2024. Only Beacons of Hope like you who believe that every woman deserves safety and care can make that happen.
