Allison Seymour

Allison Seymour is an Emmy® award-winning anchor who has been waking up Washington, D.C. viewers with morning news since 1999. A proud native of the nation’s capital, she began her television career behind the scenes at ABC News’ D.C. bureau before earning her Master of Mass Communication from the University of South Carolina. She is also a distinguished graduate of Hampton University, where she is enshrined in the Mass Media Hall of Fame.

Allison’s on-air career began during the Blizzard of 1993 in Upstate New York. She went on to work in Utica, Binghamton, and Albany before taking an anchor position in St. Louis, Missouri, in the summer of 1998. On her very first day in St. Louis, she met her future husband, radio host Marc Clarke.
