How It Works
Adopt A Family connects families in need with community members who want to share kindness during the holidays. Sponsors can include individuals, families, teams, organizations, or businesses who commit to adopting one or more families. Sponsors purchase and provide holiday gifts for each child and a special meal for the household to enjoy.
Join Us!
Party with a Purpose is a holiday celebration supporting our Adopt A Family and Holiday Gift Card Campaign to help local families facing rising food costs and recent SNAP benefit changes. Guests can enjoy music, community and seasonal cheer while bringing a grocery store or gas gift card valued at $25 or more as their entry.
All donated cards will go directly to families served by Volunteers of America Chesapeake and Carolinas. Join us for a meaningful night out that makes the holidays brighter for those who need it most.
Holiday Gift Card Campaign
How it Works
This year, VOACC has expanded Adopt A Family through the Holiday Gift Card Campaign to support families who are facing increased difficulty meeting basic needs. By giving grocery or gas gift cards, or by making an online donation, you help provide food, transportation, and comfort to children, adults, and seniors across our programs.
