5 Weeks of Giving

My affiliation with Volunteers of America Chesapeake arose from Russ Snyder, the President of VOAC, whom I met several years ago when we both served on an advisory board at Towson University. As a Professor of Marketing, I have had a long-standing commitment to supporting nonprofit organizations financially and volunteering, as well as by organizing and coordinating student service opportunities. Becoming a board member was a welcomed opportunity to continue to serve others.
Although at the outset I did not know much about VOAC or the wide range of services that they provide, I quickly came to appreciate the enormous need for assistance by the most vulnerable in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia and the impact that VOAC has had by helping thousands of people each year. I am proud to serve as a board member of VOAC and support the many dedicated staffers and volunteers who work tirelessly to provide much needed assistance to individuals, their families and the community through housing, ministry, health, and human services.
Please consider giving to an organization committed to supporting the most vulnerable in our community by donating below.
