Loudoun Permanent Supportive Housing
VOAC works in partnership with Loudoun County to operate this Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on-site and community based program. VOAC provides 8 onsite efficiency units to individuals who have qualified for permanent supportive housing with a documented disability; proof of HUD defined chronic homelessness and completed a vulnerability assessment. Families that meet eligibility requirements are placed in the community in scattered sites throughout Loudoun County. The Loudoun Permanent Supportive Housing program works in partnership with clients to develop Individualized Progress Plans that enable and encourage housing independence and stability. This program is a housing first approach that provides supportive resources and services to clients to assist them in recovering from the trauma of homelessness and overcoming barriers to further successes.
