VOACC was recently awarded a grant to create the Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI) to serve Latinx adults within all wards of Washington, DC, to create a rich continuum of care that engages the population of focus through prevention, early intervention/harm reduction, treatment, and long-term recovery for both HIV and co-occurring disorders.

This grant will enable VOACC to provide trauma-informed, comprehensive behavioral health, substance use and primary care services for individuals and families, as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic to DC residents, including the integration of physical health, behavioral health and social determinants of health.
