Vice President for Compliance

Torrance Poindexter serves as the organization-wide vice president for compliance, where he leads program compliance efforts to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, internal policies, and stakeholder requirements. With over 20 years of leadership experience, nearly two decades of it in the behavioral health field, Torrance brings deep expertise in strategic planning, performance analysis, operational efficiency, and data-driven program evaluation.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and a Master of Business Administration from Walden University. Based in the Maryland–Washington, D.C. area, Torrance has held key roles such as chief compliance officer and chief of staff, where he championed regulatory compliance and performance improvement initiatives across behavioral health services.

Torrance is a member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society, the National Society of Leadership and Success, the Golden Key International Honour Society, and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He also holds certifications in Sustainable Business Practices and Strategies, Moderate Risk Provider Orientation, and is recognized as a Credible Superuser.
