Volunteers of America's, Loudoun County Homeless Services Center serves those experiencing homelessness in Loudoun County. In 2015, the facility served 393 clients, nearly 100 of whom were children. It costs approximately $50 per day to house these vulnerable individuals, but they are receiving much more than basic needs. They are provided with comprehensive case management services; life skills training; housing and support placement; vocational training and placement assistance; educational opportunities, mental and physical evaluations and health care. These services are vital to ensuring the long-term success of our community. Transitioning families into housing and assisting them in maintaining stability helps to build a stronger Loudoun County.
