Who we are:
Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas is an affiliate of Volunteers of America. With over 830 employees, we provide services in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, and the Carolinas. As a whole, Volunteers of America is more than a nonprofit organization. We are a ministry of service that includes more than 16,000 employees nationwide and more than 70,000 volunteers working together to help individuals who need our help the most. We firmly believe that our employees drive the success of the organization. Our administrative office is located in Lanham, MD. The administrative office provides support to all programs for Homeless Services, Supportive Housing, Behavioral Health Services, Substance Use Disorder Services, Veterans Services, Intellectual/Development Disabilities Services, and Community Re-entry Services. Our community of dedicated individuals working together as part of our church without walls, support the great mission we have chosen to embark on.
