In 2002, Volunteers of America Chesapeake’sPratt House, located in Baltimore, Maryland, was transformed from a dilapidated Baltimore City School into a vibrant affordable housing complex. In addition to providing a safe and supportive residential environment for homeless families with two or more children, the facility offers case management, mental health counseling and referrals to needed services, such as health care, substance abuse treatment, adult education and job training.
Pratt House is home to 35 families and nearly 100 children who rely on Volunteers of America Chesapeake for shelter and supportive services. You can help us care for the children of Pratt House.
